This is one of my favourite spots to visit on the way to Tofino. Sitting just behind Wickaninnish Beach and Florencia Bay you will find this unique ecosystem full of gnarly stunted Shorepines. The acidic soil has stunted the growth of these incredible 100+ yr old trees which now resemble giant Bonsais. It’s a short hike and well worth the detour.
