The first of my "Forest Finds" series of sketches, titled Kamloops Forest Finds. These one off sketches are part of my initial design phase before I choose a subject to paint.

This sketch features Ink Cap mushrooms that I found growing out of a discarded hay bale, a branch of Purslane that was poking out of the gravel at the edge of the trail head, and a small pinecone. It was sketched on our trip to Kamloops in July 2019.

The Details - 5x7” original graphite drawing on Canson Cold Press 140lb paper. Signed and dated on reverse. Fixed to prevent smudging. Ships in a 5x7” protective photo sleeve, backed with foam core.
